Key highlights: - Contribute to the Integrity and Performance of Biodiversity Credit Inventory processes - Temporary Full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity till 30 June 2029 - Based in Parramatta, hybrid working supported - Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $109,102.00 to $120,542.00 + super The Credit Supply Branch is currently seeking to appoint a Project Officer to effectively track and report credit inventory across and ensure transparency, accuracy and informed decision‑making across the organisation’s credit supply initiatives. Key responsibilities Track and report biodiversity credit inventory ensuring accurate and timely data. Manage reporting processes to monitor financial results and compliance. Facilitate accurate payment processing through SAP. Develop and implement reporting tools that provide clear, actionable insights. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong relationships and improve operational efficiency. Enhance management reporting systems and navigate legacy platforms. Tailor communication to diverse audiences and continuously improve tools and processes to support consistent program outcomes. Key knowledge and experience Experience in developing reporting tools and data analysis. Experience using SAP or a similar financial information system and MS Excel. Understanding of the NSW Biodiversity Offsets Scheme and offset rules is an advantage. Knowledge and experience of environmental markets and/or funds management is an advantage. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in data analysis, environment, finance, project monitoring or similar. DCCEEW conserves and protects the state’s natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate, including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations. DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state, to support the environment, communities and industry.
