We manufacture and procure a broad range of products for commercial and residential use such as laminate, engineered stone and veneers so that all Australians can live in beautiful, practical spaces. The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time warehouse Transport Manager/Outbound Manager to join us at our Brisbane Distribution Centre in Eagle Farm, QLD. Reporting to the DC Manager, you will assist with the day to day running of the warehouse and general despatch duties, while overseeing a workforce of 21 Drivers and 4 store-people. Your primary responsibilities will include: Standard hours will be 4am - 12.30pm, Mon- Fri and is a salaried role with a highly competitive base rate. About You Along with experience in a similar fleet manager or warehouse-based role, you’ll have the following skills and experience: Prior despatch and/or logistics experience Experience managing a medium to large team ( fleet of 21 drivers) Experience in fleet management or warehouse management Strong leadership skills and ability to relate to people at all levels Computer literacy i.e. WMS, excel, word, outlook.. Self-driven, proactive with a can do attitude and problem solving skills Ability to prioritise, multi task in a fast-paced environment and a high attention to detail Commitment to Safety, OH&S policies and procedures i.e. Chain of responsibility Ability to work excellent hours of 5am – 1.30pm Mon-Fri What’s on offer 26 weeks of full-pay parental leave (or 52 weeks at half pay), with flexible return-to-work options.
