About The Role We’re seeking a part‑time Accounts Officer to join our Finance team reporting to the Finance Manager. This role is responsible for the end‑to‑end Accounts Payable function – from managing supplier queries and processing invoices to preparing payment runs and driving process improvements. This is a 3‑day p / week opportunity. What You’ll Do Manage accounts payable and receivable functions including vendor set‑up, invoice processing, debtor invoicing and payment runs. Work with the team to assist in the rollout of TechOne. Perform reconciliations across creditors, debtors, bank accounts, credit cards and general ledger accounts. Assist with the preparation of half‑year and annual reporting and support external audit requirements. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries, chase outstanding debts and ensure timely payments. Contribute to process improvements by reviewing current practices and driving efficiencies across the finance team. Assist the Finance Manager in monitoring compliance with policies, processes, controls and governance requirements. What You’ll Bring Minimum 2 years experience in Accounts Payable or as a Finance Officer. Proactive, detail‑oriented and skilled at managing time and competing priorities. Confident using MS Excel; Microsoft Dynamics GP experience is a plus. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to see the bigger picture. Eager to learn, grow and contribute within a fast‑paced high‑pressure environment. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‑focused mindset. Able to initiate process improvements and build strong stakeholder relationships.
