Data & Digital Solutions Manager

This role will work within our Volvo Group Digital and IT team. Your future team Reporting to the Head of Digital and IT Australia Solutions Manager, you will oversee the Data & Digital team of 9, made up of Data and Business Analysts, Software Engineers and Masterdata & Systems Support Specialists. Your team forms part of the greater Digital & IT group of roughly 33 employees. The Digital and IT business unit are a group of personable and collaborative individuals who work well across different departments and are always happy to lend support where it is needed. In this role, you will bring: A degree qualification in Information Technology (or similar related qualification) or equivalent working experience Strong leadership and people skills with high level of customer service acumen Strong business presentation and communication skills Proven experience leading solution delivery teams and delivering data related solutions Experience working within a complex global business, liaising with stakeholders all the way up to Executive level Demonstrated experience in partnering with the business to deliver strategic value, as well as improving processes and driving change. What you will do As the Data and Digital Solutions Manager, your primary role focuses will be overseeing the domains of masterdata management, business intelligence reporting and digital solution development operations and maintenance. You will also be responsible for a team of 8 direct reports, who each fall under one of the domains. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Masterdata Management Providing Volvo Group Australia (VGA) business units with masterdata management services Ensuring masterdata processes and quality measurements are established and followed up Working closely with business systems owners and business users to ensure that masterdata enables accurate business transactions Business Intelligence Reporting Managing and maintaining a portfolio of business insights reports Developing and maintaining a robust foundation for data feed and data manipulation utilising VGA’s available platforms tools and methods Prioritising the pipeline of development and maintenance activities in line with business expectations and operational requirements Digital Solution Development Managing and maintaining a portfolio of local digital solutions Ensuring that relevant support and maintenance is provided for the solutions in scope Safeguarding compliance of the developed solutions to the North Star architecture Ensuring the cybersecurity posture of the solutions matches company and industry standards.
