About the Role Based at our Springvale, Melbourne office , this role takes on a national remit , responsible for identifying, securing, and expanding relationships with mid‑to‑large‑sized corporate fleet customers. You will own the full business development lifecycle from initial engagement through to solution design, tender response, negotiation, and closure. Supported by a highly respected national brand, extensive product range, and strong executive backing, you’ll shape new national accounts and deliver long‑term growth. Responsibilities Identify and secure new corporate fleet customers across Australia. Leverage existing network and industry intelligence to open high‑value doors. Build multi‑level relationships with senior stakeholders (operations, procurement, fleet, logistics and supply chain). Conduct site surveys, equipment assessments and commercial evaluations. Recommend tailored materials handling solutions aligned to customer needs. Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations. Prepare proposals, respond to tenders and negotiate commercially sound agreements. Ensure full adherence to customer specifications prior to order. Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction. Update the CRM, manage pipeline activity and provide accurate monthly reporting. Assist Finance with account queries and debtor resolution as required. Qualifications At least 5 years of senior B2B sales experience with exposure to one or more of the following industries: Transport, 3PL/4PL, Materials Handling Equipment, Capital equipment or fleet‑based solutions. Strong commercial judgement and ability to structure complex deals. Experience managing a national pipeline with CRM discipline. Proactive, persistent, self‑managed approach to business development. Desired Attributes A confident communicator and strong negotiator, adept at engaging corporate buying groups and influencing high‑value decisions. Ability to toggle between strategic and tactical thinking – plan, then win. Capability to structure and manage complex deals across multiple functional teams.
