Manager - Strategy & Consulting Reporting to the Senior Manager or Director – Strategy & Consulting, the Manager – Strategy & Consulting leads project teams of Strategy & Consulting specialists and serves as a trusted cyber security advisor to senior stakeholders in Australia’s largest organisations. The role involves providing direction and support to consultants within engagement teams, building client trust through influential communication, demonstrating excellence in planning and execution, and contributing deep cyber security knowledge. Key Roles & Responsibilities Evaluate customers' business needs and advise on strategic cyber security planning Manage all or part of a relationship with customers, including change management, account planning, and development of key relationships to lead to follow‑on work Manage engagement teams, including project scoping and definition, work plan development and implementation, meeting preparation and facilitation, and project management Plan and coordinate the resources necessary to complete product implementation and preparation of major strategic proposals Perform rigorous analysis to identify potential value‑creating opportunities, developing cohesive conclusions, and presenting key findings at the executive level Identify, recommend, and establish innovative service offerings and ways to improve existing approaches through thorough analysis and consultation; foster a culture of excellence and challenge the way we do things to continuously improve Actively build cross‑practice and cross‑function collaboration across CyberCX and continuously look for ways to add value; facilitate communication, partnerships and cross‑pollination across the business so teams better engage and service customers Lead, coach and build high‑performing Strategy & Consulting practice teams by developing others’ skills and increasing knowledge of CyberCX and practice products, services, capabilities Create a culture of empowerment and accountability through consistent engagement, stretch and coaching, and understanding each team member's skills, drivers and aspirations Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills 5 years’ experience working for a global consulting firm or large technology company in cyber security, ideally with experience across privacy or data management or strategic risk. Ability to communicate ideas and concepts with structure, clarity, and precision. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cyber security, business administration, accounting, finance, information system, computer engineering or related field is preferred. Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading others to build their capabilities, encourage employee engagement, promote a positive learning environment and deliver high quality outcomes for customers. A demonstrated track record of providing impactful client outcomes through high‑quality delivery, effective team management and delegation. Strong experience in applying a strategic mindset and understanding how engagements fit into a broader business context. Experience identifying opportunities and helping qualify and sell engagements.
