Recruitment Partner (Tech & Data focus - 2 year fixed term)

2 year fixed-term opportunity for an experienced in-house or agency recruiterSupport a significant program of work across Technology and DataSydney based role with hybrid working arrangementsThe roleAs a Recruitment Partner you will support the delivery of significant programs of work to enhance APRA’s capabilities across technology and data, by implementing talent acquisition strategies to attract, source and recruit high calibre talent.This will include managing the end-to-end recruitment experience across the relevant business areas (primarily focused on roles across Technology, Data, and Project business units), from role brief to offer stage. Key to success will be developing strong partnerships with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their needs, guide and advise, and proactively source quality talent across a variety of skill sets.Your ideas will also help drive our employer brand and attraction strategy and you will have the opportunity take part in broader people program initiatives.The teamThe People Programs team sits within the People & Culture team and is responsible for the development of initiatives and programs across the employee lifecycle, including attraction and recruitment, internal mobility, secondments, workforce planning and employee experience, along with the delivery of APRA’s inclusion & diversity strategy.Key responsibilitiesDeliver end-to-end recruitment for roles spanning entry-level to senior leadership appointmentsCollaborate closely with business leaders and People Partners to understand business needs and to ensure roles are appropriately definedDevelop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract high calibre talentBuild and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through proactive sourcing strategiesConduct initial candidate screenings, coordinate and take part in interview and selection stepsAdvocate for the candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and feedbackAbout youA senior in-house recruiter (financial or professional services experience highly regarded), or consultant with a track record of successful client partnerships in an agency environmentSubstantial experience sourcing and recruiting roles across the technology and data domainsAdept in talent identification, sourcing and assessment techniques, with a passion for best practiceA natural relationship builder with a consultative engagement style and client-focused mindsetExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders at all levelsTo work with us, you need to be an Australian citizen with eligibility to gain a Baseline Security clearance.About APRAThe Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) places you at the heart of Australia’s financial services industry.
