About the Team

Uber Direct provides Uber's market leading delivery network and capability to be leveraged by merchants through their own ecommerce channels. The last-mile delivery market is estimated to be worth upwards of $7.5b AUD in Australia and we are looking for someone to join the ANZ Uber Direct Operations team. As a relatively new product for Uber we are scaling quickly, innovating fast and building out a new proposition for ourselves and our partners. About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for leading the Account Operations team. The Account Operations team is responsible for providing operational support and product expertise to our top tier accounts. As a Senior Account Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall program management of the Account Operations team, from team governance, to overseeing project work and to people management. This role will also require you to provide operational support and product expertise to a small portfolio of accounts.

Your Impact in Role:

Manage a portfolio of top tier accounts - Work closely with commercial teams to provide operational support and product expertise to ensure we provide a best in class merchant and delivery experience

With support from your manager, you will lead the Account Operation team - this includes overseeing projects, owning the team governance, ways of working and plan

Work closely with the Uber Direct operations team and other cross functional stakeholders to drive outcomes for our top tier accounts

People management - Manage and mentor the Account Operations Associates to cultivate a successful and engaged teams that make things happen

Identify improvement opportunities - execute on projects and initiatives, optimize existing process and build new processes

The Experience You’ll Bring:

A proven track record - You'll have 5+ years previous experience in operations, business management, or SaaS Account Management. People Management experience is preferred.

A self-starter who thrives on solving complex problems: Launching a new business isn't easy, and there are a lot of new challenges to solve. We are looking for someone to deliver exceptional results to the most complex problems

Strong operational and analytical aptitude is required

Proactivity - a willingness to get into the detail and a continuous improvement mindset

Commercial and business acumen - You have a good understanding of how businesses and organizations work together to achieve their goals

Strong stakeholder management skills to work cross functionally and build effective relationships in a fast-paced working environment

A customer first mindset, where you champion the needs of merchants and objectively represent the voice of the merchant when business decisions are made

This role is dynamic you’ll need to be willing to roll up your sleeves and execute on things quickly to a high standard
