Responsibilities Lead and manage the S‑Check Service, driving service improvements and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day delivery in collaboration with the Community Outpatient Manager. Oversee reporting and compliance, including preparation of reports for the Community Grants Hub and other funding bodies. Drive innovation and project delivery, developing, managing, and implementing the S‑Check model of care and related initiatives. Build strong partnerships, working closely with finance, hospital departments, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, risk management, and service success. Support research and quality improvement, contributing to data collection, reporting, and promotional activities that enhance program outcomes and visibility. Qualifications Relevant qualifications or project management experience in planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. Strong organisational and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to deliver projects effectively from concept to completion. Excellent communication abilities, including experience preparing high‑level reports, policies, and advice within the alcohol and other drugs sector. Exceptional time management, able to juggle competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. A strong understanding of harm minimisation principles and proven ability to build productive relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders. Hospital Information Based at St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst – a busy inner‑city hospital located in a beautiful area surrounded by cafes, galleries, theatres, parks, nightlife, and nearby beaches. The hospital is a centre of excellence for heart & lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, homeless health, drug & alcohol services, and correctional health. The facility is closely partnered with universities and affiliated research institutes, many of which are located on‑campus.
