The Opportunity We are looking for a proactive, organised, and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator to support our national service operations. This role plays a key part in job scheduling, customer communication, and supporting the productivity of our field service technicians. You will be the central link between customers, technicians, scheduling, and internal stakeholders — ensuring service requests are handled efficiently, safely, and professionally. What You’ll Be Doing Deliver exceptional customer support via phone and email Respond promptly to enquiries, service requests, and escalations Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and site contacts Provide clear, friendly, and professional communication at all times Schedule work and allocate technicians across NSW & QLD Maintain a rolling two-week calendar for technician workloads Monitor job progress and follow up on delays or issues Process customer orders and update job notes accurately Close completed jobs and prepare them for invoicing Manage the regional inbox and prioritise tasks effectively Keep SAP, AroFlo, and internal systems up to date Ensure job statuses, documentation, and data entry are consistently accurate Support customer/contractor inductions where required Maintain compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and operational procedures Work closely with Service Ops Managers, Technicians, Accounts, Projects, Manufacturing and Sales Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Service Team Share knowledge and contribute to team development Safety & Wellbeing Promote a safe work environment and follow all Wastech OHS protocols Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly Participate in mandatory training and safety initiatives What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service, administration, or call centre environment Strong communication skills and a genuine customer-first mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Ability to handle high-volume tasks with accuracy and professionalism Experience using ERP or CRM systems (SAP/AroFlo experience highly regarded) Strong organisation and multitasking skills Experience in service-based, technical, or manufacturing environments Knowledge of waste management or machinery industries Certificate III/IV in Business Administration or related field Personal Attributes Positive, proactive, and professional attitude Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and customer service Why Join Us?
