Join a leading MSSP specialising in ICT Security (based in the Parramatta area) A fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to grow their skills within a team of like‑minded professionals Be part of a great company culture that recognises and rewards effort We are a leading Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), specialising in ICT Security solutions, seeking an experienced Desktop / Microsoft Support person, ideally with Level 2 skills, to join our professional services team. Our in‑house technical team provide unparalleled ICT support and client services. Our clients are typically medium and larger sized companies who rely on our team for ongoing support. We design, implement, manage, secure and support an extensive range of networked infrastructure. Whilst the majority of support is performed remotely and proactively using the latest systems administration services and tools, telephone and onsite assistance is sometimes required. We also deliver client‑specific projects that include the design and deployment of complex server and cloud‑based solutions. Sample projects include Microsoft 365 migrations, server installation and consolidation, Hyper‑V and VMware, advanced firewalls, WAN acceleration, secure wireless and SD‑WAN‑based solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your existing Desktop and Microsoft support skills. Applicant Requirements Have industry experience working with a MSP (ideally a MSSP). Be proactive and passionate in providing exceptional customer service. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with clear English communications. Able to work individually and within a dedicated team. Demonstrate problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Be honest and reliable, with a positive and enthusiastic "CAN DO" attitude. Possess a strong desire to develop and expand ICT networking knowledge. Sound experience in supporting Desktops, MS365, MS Exchange, Azure and Microsoft apps. Desired Experience Sound knowledge with any of the following: Hyper‑V, SAN, RDS, SD‑WAN, Firewalls, Network Switching, Cloud, MDR/XDR, Networking… Supporting firewalls, switching, wireless, routing – Fortinet, Cisco, etc. Experience with utilising and updating RMM & Network Monitoring tools (Autotask, Datto RMM, PRTG, Solarwinds, etc.). Industry recognised certifications such as Fortinet NSE4, CCNA, Azure, ITIL, Network+, relevant tertiary qualifications. Full‑time position.
