Job Description
As an Account Executive within the publishing department you will be responsible for supporting a team of Sales Executives and the Group Business Manager by managing all administrative processes and enabling the smooth running of the team.
This team looks after Australia's #1 Metro Mastheads, the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, as well as Australia's national Business Masthead, The Australian Financial Review. In addition to our Mastheads, Publishing Sales Executives are responsible for sales across the Nine.com.au portfolio, which includes 9News, 9Honey, Wide World Of Sports and more.
The responsibilities of the role includes sales and campaign management, creating and updating financial reports, working with market research team to assist in analytical side of business, all administrative duties for print and online products, liaising with internal stakeholders including editorial, production, other sales teams, commercial innovation, and commercial operations.
Day to day you will:

Develop and maintain client relationships for bookings, billing, queries.
Provide quotes and information in the absence of Sales Executives.
Collaborate with internal teams (commercial operations, pricing, sales, etc.) and manage digital campaign trafficking.
Track and report on campaign performance, providing regular updates.
Assist with administration, reporting, and organizing client meetings/events.
Support Sales Executives in organising and hosting client meetings or events.
Provide effective, timely and accurate responses to client enquiries.

Professional personal presentation
Computer literacy - Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other presentation methods
Ability to operate collaboratively as part of a team, or autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, dynamic environment.
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Punctual, must have integrity and initiative
Media knowledge an advantage
