About the HomeA modern care home built on two hectares of land, set in a quiet suburb of Glenvale, just 5kms west of the Toowoomba town centre. It consists of 124 beds, a with various care units such as dementia, respite, and palliative. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.About The RoleAs our Glenvale Care Manager, you will work as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals. You will support the General Manager in managing and leading the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance, helping them to live longer, healthier, and happier lives.Benefits of BupaSupportive, collaborative, and caring team cultureContinual learning and development opportunitiesRelocation and accommodation assistance availableInternal transfers across our care homesDuties includeOversee the daily clinical operations of the care homeSupport and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and educationReview clinical incidents, complaints and changesLead compliance with ACFI assessmentsManage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carersPrepare and conduct clinical governance auditsOversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirementsLiaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident careSkills and ExperienceCurrent AHPRA is essentialBachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essentialPost grad qualification in aged care highly regardedExperience managing a minimum of 30 bedsProven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute settingExcellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilitiesHighly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skillsAn understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and OutcomesCultureWe all share the same purpose at Bupa Aged Care.
