About the Role We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team. This exciting role supports the Business Development Manager in equipment and ingredients sales, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth. From identifying opportunities and conducting product demonstrations to finalising proposals and ensuring customer satisfaction, you’ll play a key role in delivering business success. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and company growth. Identify and pursue new prospects through networking and market research. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales to meet or exceed targets. Conduct professional product demonstrations, both in-house and on-site. Provide ongoing customer support, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales strategies with campaigns and customer needs. Support marketing activities including product launches, promotions, exhibitions, and trade shows, with the ability to travel as required. Monitor customer purchases, gather feedback, and provide insights and recommendations to management. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, and maintain accurate records of quotes, invoices, leads, and activities in the company database. Qualifications and Skills Valid Australian Driver’s Licence. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (highly regarded but not essential). Proven experience in sales or customer service with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools (specifically Greentree, highly beneficial). Passion and enthusiasm for desserts, including frozen yoghurt, soft serve, and gelato. Experience in the frozen dessert, bakery, or hospitality industries will be highly regarded. Highly organised, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Self‑motivated, resilient, and able to work under pressure with a creative, solutions‑focused mindset. Strong initiative, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
