Operations & Quality Manager – Waste/Water Industry Yatala, QLD | Full Time, Permanent | $120K-$160K + EPP Global leader. Big impact. Hands‑on innovation. FindStaff is on the hunt for an exceptional Operations & Quality Manager to lead the charge for a world‑class global client based in Yatala. If you’re an experienced leader with a background in waste or water processing, this is your chance to join a game‑changing team driving sustainable solutions and breakthrough innovation. Monday to Friday | 7:00 am – 3:00 pm Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 (negotiable based on experience) + Super, Employee Participation Plan (EPP) included. What You’ll Do Lab Operations & Quality Oversee daily lab operations and production runs. Conduct advanced lab testing on biowaste streams. Operate lab equipment to assess material content and waste stream quality. Process waste into reusable fuels and fertilisers. Deliver accurate feedstock samples and reporting. Process Engineering & Plant Ops Collaborate with internal and external engineers on design and commissioning. Modify plant equipment to meet client and market needs. Troubleshoot, maintain and optimise process machinery. Ensure quality control procedures are always met to the highest standards. What We’re Looking For 3+ years in process/plant engineering within waste‑processing, bioenergy, or a related industry. Mechanical engineer or Mechanical Fitter qualification with 3+ years of hands‑on experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills & project management experience.
