The candidate is a proven Development Manager, Construction Manager or Engineer seeking to progress their career where we can offer competitive remuneration and career advancement potential. Position Summary The Senior Development Manager will oversee and drive the planning, design, and delivery of development projects from concept through completion. Leveraging a strong foundation in engineering and construction management, this role will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will manage head contractors, multidisciplinary consultancy teams, liaise with key stakeholders, and provide strategic management across all phases of project development. Key Responsibilities Lead the end‑to‑end management of complex development projects, from feasibility through design, procurement, and construction. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics. Oversee design and engineering coordination to ensure constructability, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Act as the project’s Superintendent and manage and facilitate the management of the construction contract. Manage contractor and consultant performance through effective communication, review, and issue resolution. Provide input into design and engineering documentation to ensure technical excellence and practical buildability. Review construction methodologies and sequencing to optimise cost, time, and risk outcomes. Lead value engineering initiatives to improve project economics without compromising quality. About You You will be a results‑oriented team player with an interest in property and construction, development, possessing an understanding of project lifecycles, economics and market dynamics. Strong in stakeholder management and communication, you will excel at collaboration and coordination. Willingness to deliver high‑quality developments, you will demonstrate a commitment to strategic planning and excellence in execution. You may demonstrate: Bachelor’s degree in Property Economics, Construction Management, Engineering, Urban Planning, Finance, or a related field. At least 5 years’ experience preferred in property development, construction, project management or engineering. Knowledge of development processes, feasibility studies, and regulatory approvals.
