About the Role Full‑Time Position 5 Days Per Week (Monday - Friday) Office Based Position in Altona VIC We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our growing team. Ideally, you’ll bring prior experience in transport accounts receivable, with the skills to ensure customer invoices and payments are processed and reconciled accurately and on time. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: Key Responsibilities Manage the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accurate billing and timely collections. Conduct regular follow‑ups on outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies. Process daily and weekly invoices, receipts, allocations, and ancillary charges. Maintain debtor ledger, issue monthly statements, and manage debt collection. Collaborate with Sales and Pricing teams on onboarding new customers and ensuring timely invoicing. Investigate and respond to credit enquiries, raise credit requests, and reconcile payments. Maintain accurate customer account records. Prepare AR month‑end checklists. Review of Driver run sheets. Provide support to the finance team with ad‑hoc tasks. Skills Requested Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role. Previous experience in the transport or logistics industry (required). Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and initiative. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Xero experience advantage. Knowledge of debt collection processes highly regarded.
