Salesforce Application Support Analyst – Mercer Location: Sydney or Melbourne. Hybrid role – at least three days per week in the office. As a Salesforce Application Support Analyst within our Application Management Services team, you will provide Business-As-Usual (BAU) support and contribute to strategic initiatives. We look for a proactive team player who can coordinate, identify improvement opportunities, and drive system enhancements. Join us to lead the evolution of our Salesforce platform—driving innovation, supporting business growth, and making a tangible impact through your technical expertise. Responsibilities Coordinate Level 2 and Level 3 support activities, troubleshoot issues, and escalating when necessary to minimize business disruption. Design, develop, and implement complex Salesforce solutions, automation, and integrations aligned with business goals. Optimize Salesforce functionality: evaluate new features, implement best practices, and attend upgrades and enhancements. Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry best practices; recommend and implement improvements. Design and develop automation workflows using Salesforce Lightning Flow to streamline processes. Support workflows via tools like ServiceNow, ensuring efficient incident and change management. Qualifications Salesforce Administrator Certification (essential). 2‑3 years of hands‑on Salesforce support experience, with proven ability to support solutions and coordinate initiatives led by SMEs. Strong technical expertise in Salesforce Lightning, automation, and integration techniques. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non‑technical audiences. Knowledge of evaluating and implementing AppExchange solutions and third‑party integrations. Familiarity with ITIL standards, incident management, and change control processes. Flexibility to work weekend/public holiday and on‑call shifts as required. Capability to support Pacific work hours (Australia/New Zealand).
