Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our newly Commercial team. ABOUT THE ROLE This role will provide event organisation support and general administrative support to the company as well as assisting the CEO to communicate with production departments (e.g. open pit, underground, process plant), support departments (e.g. Technical Service, HR &Admin and Finance), as well as external parties, providing verbal/written renditions from/into Chinese. This position is also responsible for media-related matters, including liaising with media, organising relevant events, and managing promotional activities. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Provide executive and administrative support to the CEO and leadership team. Coordinate daily briefings, weekly operations meetings and monthly management meetings. Manage travel, accommodation and logistics for executive visits and company events. Set up meeting rooms, catering, video conferencing and presentation equipment. Prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up action items. Be the main point of contact for event and executive coordination. Provide bilingual (English/Mandarin) translation and communications support. Compile and translate operational, safety and production reports for Head Office. Support company media, website content and communications activities. Manage purchasing, invoicing and receipting through Pronto & SAP. Assist with accommodation coordination and office suppliers. Provide reception and general admin support when required. ABOUT YOU Bilingual - Mandarin and English (essential). Proven experience in senior administration, executive support or event coordination (essential). Experience in mining, heavy industry or corporate environments (desirable). Certificate III in Business Administration or similar (desirable). Highly organised with strong time management and multitasking ability. High level of confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). BENEFITS Permanent full-time role with immediate start. Excellent remuneration package with additional allowances. Receive a $12k residential allowance per annum. Fully covered family private health insurance through GU Health Complete Gold Cover or Allowance up to $4.8k. Receive up to 10% short-term incentive payment (STIP) of your base salary. $2.4k allowance to put towards your choice of Death and Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance. Pro-rata long service leave (LSL) after just 5 years of service and be entitled to 13 weeks paid LSL after 10 years of service.
