Barefoot Projects, a leading and highly respected Construction & Landscape company based in Braeside, is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team. We're looking for a confident, proactive accounts professional who thrives in a busy environment, excels at accuracy, loves working across multiple facets of accounting and supporting a friendly team approach to project work. If you're organised, adaptable, and enjoy thinking on your feet, this could be your next career move Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Receivable: invoice and bill processing in Xero Daily bank reconciliations and monthly corporate credit card reconciliations Support of weekly preparation of P&L reports and debtor/creditor ledgers Documentation for end-of-month supplier payments (batch payments) Follow-up on outstanding AR and reconciling customer statements Payroll support and administration Management of insurance, financial reporting, and related tasks About You – Our Ideal Candidate Minimum 3 years' experience in accounts roles using Xero (AR/AP) Intermediate level Xero reporting experience is essential for this role Experience with Procore or similar Construction Project Management software is highly regarded Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time management Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Friendly and approachable manner Positive, "can-do" attitude and a team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment Australian permanent residency is required for this position Construction industry accounting experience is preferred but not essential What We Offer Full‑time position with attractive hourly rate Work with a company that has a strong market reputation Free on‑site parking A friendly, supportive, and collaborative work environment Take the next step in your office and accounts career and join the Barefoot Projects team - where your skills will be valued, and your contribution will make a real impact #J-18808-Ljbffr
