About Keevs Construction (Keejen Pty Ltd) Keevs Construction is a civil construction business based in Thornton, NSW, delivering engineered civil works across the Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Central Coast regions. Our projects are led by an experienced engineering team, ensuring work is properly scoped, coordinated and delivered to specification. We operate across earthworks, excavation, retaining walls, drainage, roadworks and associated civil construction, supporting residential, commercial and infrastructure clients. We place strong emphasis on systems, quality assurance and clear communication between the office, engineering team and site crews. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Business Administration Assistant to support our engineering and construction operations and assist senior management in the day‑to‑day running of the business. This role suits someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working within a technical, delivery‑focused environment. Key Responsibilities Administrative support across engineering and construction operations Invoicing and payroll support, including data entry and reconciliation Client communications, including email correspondence, follow‑ups and scheduling Managing incoming emails and coordinating responses Maintaining accurate project records, filing systems and documentation Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and service providers Supporting senior management with operational and personal errands as required General office coordination and administration tasks Project and Operations Support Uploading, formatting and managing project and engineering documentation Maintaining version control and document standards Supporting workflow coordination between the office, engineering and site teams Assisting with internal systems for job management, invoicing and reporting About You Experience in an administration or office support role Comfortable working in construction or engineering environments Highly organised with strong attention to detail Clear and professional communicator with clients and internal teams Trustworthy and discreet when supporting senior management Able to manage competing priorities and work autonomously Practical, solution‑focused and willing to assist where required Skills and Experience Proven experience in administration or office support Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of organisation and accountability Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Confidence working with systems, templates, and structured processes Experience with invoicing and payroll Exposure to civil construction or engineering businesses Experience with job management or accounting software Familiarity with QA or compliance documentation Why Join Keevs Construction Work closely with an experienced engineering‑led construction team.
