About the Role

We are looking to hire Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Heavy Vehicle Technicians and Hydraulic Fitters who has previous experience working on heavy duty trucks. In these roles you will have plenty of variety, including working on Water Trucks, Waste Trucks, Vacuum Trucks and Tilt Trays. We have Several Positions available around Australia. Penrith NSW / Ormeau QLD / Wangara WA. For Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Heavy Vehicle Technicians and Hydraulic Fitters.

 Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience as a mechanic in Automotive manufacturing / Heavy duty truck assembly.
  • Experience on a wide variety of Trucks/ Vehicles.
  • Servicing and repairing the company’s suite of products/trucks, including oil changes, changing of belts, hydraulic components, and pneumatic components.
  • Running diagnostic tests on vehicles and fault finding on heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Basic servicing of vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Performing mechanical road-worthy repairs.
  • Running up and testing the Company models to ensure working within the company specifications.
  • Maintaining detailed records of services.
  • Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
  • Maintaining a parts inventory within service vehicles.
  • When service is quiet you will assist with fitting modules to Water/Vacuum/Service/Tilt Tray trucks.
  • General Mechanical Duties.
  • Full Australian working rights and Drivers Licence 
  • Forklift or HR Licences would be highly regarded

*This role will require pre-employment Medical and National Police Check.
