People & Office Operations Manager (F/m/d)

We are looking for a People Operations Manager to join our team in Vienna, with the flexibility to work remotely. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of core operational functions, ensuring our team thrives in a supportive and well-organized environment. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape and streamline our people operations, covering HR legal and compliance, payroll, office management, and more.

**Your contributions to our journey**:

- **Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries** and HR-related questions.
- **
Oversee the on-boarding and off-boarding process**, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
- **Handle payroll operations**, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees.
- **Manage HR legal and compliance topics**, ensuring all employee contracts and company policies are up-to-date and in compliance with local regulations.
- **Manage office operations**, including supplies, facilities, and general office management tasks.
- **Organize company off-sites** and other team-building events to foster a positive work environment.
- **Prepare work for accounting**, including managing payroll data and ensuring accurate financial records.
- **Support audit processes** by preparing and organizing necessary documentation and records.

**What You Need to Be Successful**:

- **3+ years of experience in HR, people operations or similar roles**, with an understanding of HR legal and compliance requirements.
- ** Experience in payroll management** and preparation of accounting data.
- ** Strong communication skills** in English and German, both written and verbal.
- ** Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities** in a dynamic environment.
- ** Experience with office management** and organizing company events.
- ** Familiarity with HR software** and tools for managing employee data and payroll.
- ** Problem-solving skills** and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
