The open secret is that the music industry is struggling with the very basics of music accounting: What was played, when and where? Who should get paid and how much?

Utopia Music is bridging the data gap by connecting global consumption, accurate metadata, and fast payments to an industry-wide trust platform. **THE ROLE**

As a Talent Acquisition Team Lead - Engineering at Utopia you will work within our People & Culture team as a part of the global Talent Acquisition team. You will contribute to bring a unique balance of strategic expertise and hands-on delivery. You are an experienced recruiter with team leadership experience, with a track record of delivering hires in a fast-paced and diverse business environment.

You are expected to be a great colleague and a friend, as the rest of Utopians will be to you. Collaboration will always be key, favored to individual contributions. You are expected to listen and discuss, and always support your colleagues when you can. You will get support and guidance from your peers, the global Director of TA and the engineering teams. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Drive our hiring efforts in the Engineering TA team and ensure that hiring targets
are consistently achieved. Use data to drive (y)our team’s delivery. Cherry on
top: Creative ideas on how to improve DI&E targets
- Collaborate with our hiring managers and tech teams across Engineering
including our CTO. This will be easy as they are all amazing
- Work on sourcing campaigns and hiring strategies that (y)our team can execute
against. Easy peasy, with our mission of FairPayForEveryPlay
- Lead the Engineering TA Team. Be their biggest fan and supporter, use OKRs
for team and individuals, plan and execute initiatives
- Take over specific positions and manage the end-to end recruitment process.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Successfully led a talent acquisition team(s) in a high-growth startup/scaleup
experience standards
- Managed end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for roles of all levels
- Deep knowledge of Tech market and its trends, and a great network within the
tech/engineering community
- The ability to break down long-term hiring strategies into shorter-term initiatives
and work with the TA team to successfully execute against these
- Open-minded person who values collaboration and teamwork more than
individual success
