The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position of:
**Front Desk Manager**
In this responsible position, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the entire front desk area.
In close cooperation with and as a deputy to our Assistant Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the following **tasks**:
- Responsibility for the smooth organizational and administrative running of the Front Desk area (incl. Guest Services, Concierge) in coordination with the Assistant Front Office Manager, as well as Front of House Manager
- All front office activities including the organization of early, late and night shifts, including complaint management
- Deputizing for the Assistant Front Office Manager in his/her absence
- Duty and holiday planning for the entire department, as well as carrying out employee appraisals
- Planning and organizing department meetings and training sessions for the front desk area
**Your competencies**:
- Completed vocational training in hotel management or business administration
- Several years of professional experience in the hospitality industry, experience as a supervisor at the front office
- Independence and team spirit
- Sound knowledge of Opera
- Very good MS Office skills
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
