We are seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist to join our team at Valneva Austria GmbH. As an HRIS Specialist, you will be responsible for driving digitalization and system upgrades to improve the People Experience within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Upgrade Specialist: Collaborate with IT and software vendors to implement system upgrades, configurations, and potentially switch to more fitting HR solutions.
  • HRIS Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert on HRIS-related inquiries and escalations.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials to support HRIS usage across the organization.
  • Data Integrity: Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Process Optimization: Partner with HR stakeholders to streamline processes and workflows through automation and system optimization.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR and HR Information Systems.
  • At least a Bachelor degree in HR-Management or other equivalent (HR-Consulting, IT, etc.).
  • High self-organizing abilities, quick grasp of understanding combined with business orientated behavior.
  • Knowledge in MS Excel (Power Query, Pivot, Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills in a fast-changing environment.
  • Very good proficiency in English and preferably German.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
