In this role, you'll drive real impact at one of the most recognizable brands globally by leveraging your expertise in data science to inform business decisions. You'll contribute to global data science projects, working closely with other team members and stakeholders to build, run, and improve data-driven products.

We're seeking an experienced data scientist who can think critically and creatively to solve complex business problems. If you have a strong background in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data modeling, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll support the team by efficiently managing, running, and delivering data science projects, including project scoping, execution, quality assurance, and delivery via compelling presentations. Your focus will be on machine learning modeling, and you'll work closely with architects, engineers, product owners, and data experts to ensure top-notch quality in data modeling and statistical topics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive innovation and propose new ways of generating value for our stakeholders
  • Build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Support and guide data science colleagues on statistical and ML methodology, developing conceptual, logical, and physical models that support various data-driven projects
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in data science, with previous experience working as a machine learning expert highly desirable
  • Masters or Doctorate in a relevant field, such as mathematics, statistics, or science
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written; German a plus
  • Programming skills in R, Python, or SQL, with the ability and willingness to learn the others
  • Data literacy, statistical reasoning, technical literacy, presentation skills, stakeholder management, pragmatic critical thinking, outcome-driven approach, scientific reasoning/scoping, and grit
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary: EUR 2,605 gross per month (minimum salary according to the collective agreement)
