Strategic Indirect Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a Strategic Indirect Procurement Specialist to support our procurement initiatives across various indirect categories including mobile communication, fleet management, travel, and more.

In this position, you will be instrumental in driving cost savings, enhancing supplier relationships, and mitigating risks in line with our organizational objectives. You will have the chance to improve procurement support for different departments while aiming for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Your contributions will include:

  • Identifying opportunities for improvement within various spending categories through comprehensive data analysis and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will lead sourcing initiatives and negotiations to secure advantageous contracts and terms for our organization.
  • Collaborating closely with the fleet management team to devise strategies for optimizing our vehicle fleet. You will also share global category strategies with subsidiaries to maximize opportunities and manage risks effectively.
  • Developing the indirect procurement organization and processes while enhancing collaboration with adjacent departments to ensure alignment on vendors, spending, and categories. Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess procurement performance will also be part of your role.
  • Monitoring and controlling expenditures within established budgetary constraints, while working with departments such as finance, legal, and operations to implement best practices that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will also evaluate and manage risks associated with indirect procurement.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Indirect Procurement.
  • Proven expertise in Sourcing and Procurement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
  • Familiarity with Procurement systems and Source to Contract processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong time management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and application of best practices.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
