Our Finance team has played a crucial role in Prewave's success, and we are now scaling our performance reporting. As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with our centralized Finance team in Vienna to ensure the financial success of our operations.
Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations to optimize financial outcomes. You will partner with the Finance Director and department heads to develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems.
You will also be responsible for:
- Monitoring, analyzing, and communicating key financial and operational performance indicators to the management team for key decisions.
- Developing and implementing robust finance processes and policies that align with the evolving needs of our rapidly growing business.
- Actively communicating key risks and opportunities, proposing new approaches.
- Collaborating with the management team to develop plans for maximizing profitability, reducing costs, and increasing revenue.
- Leading annual and quarterly budget and forecast exercises with all departments and tracking performance against budget.
- Developing financial models and forecasts to guide long-term planning.
- Performing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Improving month-end close to enable timely reporting of results.
- Supporting the roll-out of the Accounting ERP system and other finance tooling.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner with a strong background in finance and a minimum of 7-8 years of experience working with dedicated FP&A teams in corporates or consulting environments.
You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field and be proficient in English. You should also have exceptional communication skills, capable of creating clear presentations and conveying complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
Bonus points for having well-rounded accounting experience in a fast-growth scale-up and having worked with SaaS businesses in the past.
