Your Mission

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team in Vienna. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in scaling our performance reporting, working closely with the centralised Finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the financial success of our operations, monitoring and analyzing financial performance, and making recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.

Our Finance team operates with a 'partner first' approach, fostering strong communication loops with the wider business to minimize bottlenecks and ensure efficient decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems in collaboration with the Finance Director and department heads.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate key financial and operational performance indicators to the management team for informed decision-making.
  • Implement robust finance processes and policies that align with our rapidly growing business needs.
  • Actively communicate key risks and opportunities, proposing new approaches to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop plans for maximizing profitability, reducing costs, and increasing revenue.
  • Lead annual and quarterly budget and forecast exercises with all departments, tracking performance against budget.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to guide long-term planning and strategy.
  • Perform and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to inform business decisions.
  • Improve month-end close processes to enable timely reporting of results.
  • Support the roll-out of the Accounting ERP system and other finance tooling.
Your Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner with a strong background in finance, preferably with a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in dedicated FP&A teams. You should possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, and the ability to work with strategic concepts that drive business growth.

Bonus points for having well-rounded accounting experience in a fast-growth scale-up and working with SaaS businesses in the past.
