Field IT Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Deliver prompt and effective onsite technical assistance to clients, resolving hardware, software, and network challenges.
- Set up, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and networks.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption for clients.
- Provide outstanding customer service, maintaining professionalism and cultivating strong client relationships.
- Keep detailed records of service requests, solutions provided, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system.
- Conduct routine maintenance and system updates to guarantee optimal performance.
- Offer training and support to clients on hardware and software usage.
- Collaborate closely with the remote support team and other IT personnel to address complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in an IT support role, ideally in a field service environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, networking protocols, and commonly used software applications.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong customer service skills with the capacity to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
- Physical capability to lift and transport computer equipment, along with performing tasks that may require physical effort.
- Proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Candidates must provide a Criminal Record declaration no older than 3 months.
