Position Overview

The IAEA is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Collaboration Platforms Engineer. This role focuses on the administration and enhancement of our SharePoint environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Administration: Implement and test backup and recovery strategies for SharePoint, safeguarding data integrity and ensuring business continuity during unforeseen events.
  • Systems Development: Integrate SharePoint with various Microsoft and third-party applications, while developing tailored solutions using tools such as SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio.
  • Systems Engineering: Automate service provisioning and management processes, utilizing agile methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience as a SharePoint administrator, preferably in an on-premises setting.
  • Proficiency in managing high availability collaboration platforms, ensuring secure hosting of sensitive data.
  • Hands-on experience with the underlying infrastructure for SharePoint, including SQL Server and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with IT service quality standards and agile-oriented solutions for development and operations.
  • Experience in automation using PowerShell.
  • Excellent command of English, with knowledge of additional IAEA official languages being an asset.
Compensation and Benefits

The IAEA offers a competitive remuneration package, including:

  • A tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $50,377, subject to mandatory deductions.
  • A variable post adjustment currently amounting to US $29,168.
  • Additional benefits such as dependency allowances, rental subsidies, and education grants.
