Account Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Director to join our team at Link Worldwide. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients, overseeing all activities related to sourcing, management, and reporting of all categories identified within the scope of services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control all transactions to the highest standards, ensuring all work by the team is managed, checked, and delivered successfully.
  • Own the commercial performance of the account and ensure accurate forecasting and financial reporting is submitted on time.
  • Ensure customer service is a priority, identifying and resolving all issues relating to customers within standard guidelines.
  • Provide professional presentations to customers and initiate all product development and sourcing of new concepts in collaboration with the Operations team.
  • Maintain and update the database of local suppliers and manage relationships.
  • Liaise with suppliers and have strong negotiation skills.
  • Oversee the team and ensure they process all orders and invoices in a timely fashion.
  • Work with the team to produce accurate customer quotations and ensure quality samples and artwork for proposals.
  • Manage SLA's and KPI's set and ensure regular communication regarding order status to all departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Participate in industry trade shows to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge, and identify opportunities to increase volumes.
  • Work with LINK colleagues to ensure all opportunities are shared to drive opportunities and revenue in all markets.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the promotional goods industry.
  • Experience working with drinks-related companies – preferably on a single source contract basis.
  • A strong team attitude.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • First-class, effective organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach to managing projects.
  • Experience of managing and working as part of a team.
  • A keen eye for detail and an understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlook.
  • A personable and professional character that will allow you to build client rapport.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate.
