KPI Sports is a family-owned national supplier of sports uniforms to sporting clubs, schools, and businesses.
We are a dynamic, growth-oriented company seeking a highly motivated, driven, and experienced Head of Sales to lead our sales team and take ownership of our ambitious growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities Sales Growth: Be responsible for, and take leadership of, the business sales growth.
Through your management of the sales team, and through your own direct efforts, you will achieve or exceed the business sales growth and profit targets.Team Leadership and People Management: Be the people leader for a team of 5 sales + 1 marketing team members.
Create a high-performing sales team environment and positive culture focused on growth and accountability.
Set ambitious goals and ensure individual and team success through strategic direction and hands-on support.
Provide clear communication and coaching to ensure team alignment and performance.Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, identifying new opportunities and ensuring the alignment of team efforts with company growth objectives.
Identify and develop new products and business opportunities within identified key target sectors.Customer Service: KPI is a customer-first business.
Our goal is to provide industry-leading customer service as well as excellent product value.
As Head of Sales, you will ensure the business delivers on this commitment to exceptional customer service in all aspects of our operations.Operational Management: Drive efficient, scalable sales processes and streamline operations to maximize productivity and profitability, and prepare the business for the next stage of growth.Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key customers, actively engaging in customer retention strategies and continuously seeking new avenues for customer acquisition.
Take personal responsibility for the onboarding of large and/or strategic new customer relationships.Business Management: Participate and contribute to the executive management of the business.
Positively contribute to overall business strategy and team planning.Product and Sector Expert: You will become an expert on the benefits and features of KPI products and service, and develop a detailed understanding of the needs of our customers and industry characteristics.What You Offer You are a driven, goal-orientated, fast-paced professional who enjoys being responsible for multiple priorities within a competitive sector.
You will have an owner's mindset and be motivated by a results-based bonus structure.You will have proven experience as a sales leader in a small to mid-sized company, with a high EQ and a track record of managing and developing a sales team with a range of capabilities.
You will thrive on getting the best out of your team and seeing them develop professionally and personally.You have strong commercial and operational acumen, with experience implementing or optimizing sales processes and strategies to deliver improved sales and profitability outcomes.You have experience working directly with business owners in the execution of ambitious growth strategies.You have exceptional professional and personal standards, excellent attention to detail, and professional skills appropriate for a position of this level.Experience in the sports apparel sector, or adjacent sectors is highly desirable.Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be a key member of the business leadership team and a critical part of the next stage of our business growth.
This role is office-based and not suitable for hybrid or work-from-home structures.
Some interstate travel will be required.
