As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Head of Trade Sales to lead our sales team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients.
Job Description The Role: As the Head of Trade Sales, you will be at the forefront of driving our Sales Strategy, enhancing Customer Relationships, and leading our dedicated Trade Sales Teams across multiple states to achieve and exceed our sales targets.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand our customer base and ensure our strong presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve outstanding sales results.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Business Development: Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being across new products and competition status.
Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
Performance Management: Assess and analyse sales performance against goals.
Market Insights: Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a leadership role within the building industry, or another customer-centric Hardware Retail/Trade sales environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Proven ability to drive sale processes.
Strong business sense and industry expertise.
Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
