OUR CLIENT Our client is a leading travel management company in Australia and New Zealand, offering specialised services in corporate travel, event management, sports and entertainment logistics, and luxury leisure travel.
With 23 years of industry experience, our client utilises advanced technology and exceptional client service to deliver tailored travel solutions.
THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a driven and proactive Business Development Manager (Corporate Travel).
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our client's fast-growing business while being mentored by senior sales professionals.
In this role, you will be managing the end-to-end sales cycle from identifying prospects, client engagement, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities: Achieving individual and team sales targetsDeveloping and maintaining a deep understanding of the industry, including market trends and competitors, to effectively position our solutionsConducting thorough research to identify prospects, understand their business needs, and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirementsEngaging with decision-makers within target companies to build strong relationships and drive sales opportunitiesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date records of the sales pipeline using our CRM systemProviding regular reports to management on the sales pipeline and completed salesABOUT YOU 3+ years' Sales experience in achieving sales targets in a B2B environment within the Travel industry.
This could include account management experience where you were required to grow accountsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in using CRM systems for lead management and pipeline trackingAbility to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced settingPositive attitude and energetic approach to workDriven and self-motivated to achieve targetsExcellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building skillsYou may apply using your LinkedIn profile; however, we would love to know more.
