BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONSCompanyThis global organisation is a leading manufacturer of portable mobile radio and wireless communications technology.
They have been operating for decades and have been the trusted brand for land mobile radio, two-way radio, and remote site connectivity technology across many environments.They have evolved to become a total integrator of wireless communications infrastructure, taking on projects involving the deployment and delivery of a range of wireless communications solutions, covering IoT, edge computing, telematics, and other hardware to ensure non-redundant communications across voice, data, and machine-to-machine technology for the most remote and rugged environments.
The markets they serve include various levels of government (local, state, and federal), mining and resources, construction, public transport, and emergency services.
PositionThe position of WA Business Development Manager has become available.
As the sole salesperson for WA, you will manage all WA key accounts, engaging with stakeholders and maximizing new project opportunities.
You will be responsible for strategically growing market share and uncovering opportunities across all verticals where the business can provide solutions through their manufactured products or expert communications engineering services.On offer is a generous salary package of $160k + super + uncapped commissions.
CandidateTo be considered for this position, candidates must have at least 5+ years of senior sales experience selling solutions in a related field of portable mobile radio, wireless communications technology, telematics, edge computing, or any other communications technology sold as a solution into mining, construction, or various levels of government.
You must be an excellent relationship manager with a proven track record of growing accounts, maximizing existing relationships, and identifying, targeting, and winning new project opportunities.
The role is a senior member of the sales team nationally, so we seek candidates with strong leadership skills and long-term career ambition.
