We are aggressively expanding our operations and are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth.
About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Sydney.
The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented individual with a proven track record in sales and business development, preferably within the Australian logistics industry.
You will be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships, generating new business, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to expand business and increase revenue.Identify and acquire new clients across various industries, utilizing your strong network and industry knowledge.Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of Alpha Trucking.Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective and existing clients, showcasing Alpha Trucking's value proposition and comprehensive logistics solutions.Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.Report directly to the Director and CEO, providing regular updates on sales activities, pipeline, and performance against targets.Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, OR 2+ years of experience in business development within the Australian logistics industry.Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Strong understanding of the Australian logistics landscape is highly desirable.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong network of contacts within various industries is a plus.Experience with CRM software is advantageous.Compensation and Benefits: Competitive base salary and uncapped commissions.Attractive uncapped commission structure, providing significant earning potential based on performance.Opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing company.Be part of a dynamic and ambitious team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
