**About The Role**:
**About this opportunity**

As a part of the Procurement team assigned to the data centre construction project, you will support a full range of related services.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Services and OFCI equipment procurement & contracting strategy development
- Strategic Sourcing
- Development of pricing mechanisms
- Optioning and cost benefit analysis
- Cost forecasting
- Preparing contract documents and drafting terms and conditions
- Collating invitation to tender packages
- Development of selection and evaluation criteria
- Managing tender clarifications / returns and down selection process
- Negotiation and award of contracts
- Oversight of subcontracting arrangements and procurement planning
- Business case and stakeholder management support
- Contract oversight
- Ensure contract compliance and oversee assurance process
- Draft and issue project correspondence on behalf of the client
- Contract management
- Claims preparation and assessment
- Change control and variation management
- Subcontracting strategy, oversight & approvals
- Pro-active commercial risk management
- Lead Project meetings as appropriate

**About You**:
**Who we’re looking for**:
**Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills**
- Technical knowledge relating to Procurement, Cost, Supply Chain,and Commercial Management - ideally both pre
- and post
- contract.
- Experience in construction industry. Direct experience in data center construction is a plus.
- Previous experience of providing sourcing, procurement and contracts management support to large scale construction programs and projects.
- Should have knowledge of international construction industry standards and practices.
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
- Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
- Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
- Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.

**Qualifications**
- Engineering degree or technical education in construction-related field
