- Purpose & key responsibilities of the role
- You will plan, supervise and evaluate pilot and commercial trials
- You will manage interfaces with labs, pilot lines, operations, product management, quality, legal, business development, sales, technical customer service and downstream partners.
- You will be involved in the execution of literature and patent research
- You will participate in the drafting and presentation of scientific publications
- Your ideal profile
- You have an Academic degree (university, FH) in chemistry or natural scientific discipline or têxtile/NW engineering
- You have experience in Cellulose Acetate tow production
- You are experienced in Nonwoven processes, such as Carded Spunlace, Carded Needlepunch, Carded Pulp, Airlaid, Wetlaced and/or Wetlaid is a plus
- You are an exceptional analytical problem solver with strong project management skills & experience; Six Sigma, DOE and SPC experience beneficial
- You are a creative, self-motivated self-starter with good communication skills and experience in working with cross-functional topics
- You are fluent in English and have a willingness to travel

The monthly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 4200. with a willingness to overpay - depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
