Position overview*

Join us in a role of Product Line Manager for Liquid Resins and Additives EMEA business unit. In this position you will work together with our Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Technology and Procurement departments to implement the regional price, product and asset strategy in accordance with the global LRA business unit strategy.

**Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities**:

- The Product Line Manager for Liquid Resins and Additives (Unsaturated polyesters, Hydrophobic Polyols and Additives) defines and implements the price, product and asset strategy for the assigned product lines in accordance with the overall strategy of the Global and EMEA LRA business unit.

Product Line Management:

- Manages the respective Product Line for EMEA and co-ordinates Globally, with MI€ and gross profit responsibility for the region, balancing volumes, capacity utilization and pricing
- Facilitates growth of these product lines from pivotal role working closely with Sales, TS, R&D and Operations (Procurement, Regulatory affairs, Supply Chain & Manufacturing)
- Based on interaction with Sales, Marketing (value proposition), Operations (cost) and BU Director, sets pricing in lists, gives guidelines, discuss individual cases and leads price increases
- Drives Consolidation of product ranges across sites and technologies
- Routinely assesses and rationalizes product portfolio to optimize EBITDA€ and NWC
- Monitors competitors’ product offerings, pricing and capacity utilization
- Supports and facilitates work requests, new product developments and NPI in coordination with marketing managers and RBD.

S&OP, Working Capital and Sourcing Plan Management:

- Optimize sourcing with Supply Chain to maximize profitability and take advantage of the costs (raw material and conversion) and currency.
- Manages inventory and SMOG’s levels to targets, in conjunction with Planning
- Decides on local supply/demand conflicts submitted by Planning

Manufacturing efficiency improvement programs:

- Defines medium to long term conversion cost objective, in collaboration with manufacturing and OTD and participates in continuous improvement plan development
- Maximize Gross Profit together with Planning, Manufacturing and Procurement
- In conjunction with OTD and Supply chain determines annual production capacities required in the different reactors/assets in Europe and, if required, formulates investments proposals to LRA GBT
- Key player in maximizing savings opportunity in the raw material substitution program, working with Procurement and R&D
- Participates to due diligences and leads/supports the integration of the acquired product lines

**Required skills and experience**
- 3-5 years of previous PLM role in Coatings or Chemical Industry or 5 -10 years in Sales, TS&D, Procurement or Supply Chain in Coatings or Chemical Industry
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Very good communication skills with all levels in the organization
- Strong in influencing skills and in working in a complex matrix organization
- “Change agent” with ability to implement innovative processes / practices and challenge the Status Quo
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strongly results oriented

**Qualifications**

Master in Engineering or in Chemistry or in Economy/Business Administration
