Project Coordinator

Austroads is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to support the various projects within its expanding workstreams. Working within an established team this is an exciting opportunity to support projects which contribute to safety and productivity on our roads. Responsibilities Project management support for nationally significant and strategic projects Stakeholder management, including establishing effective working relationships and managing stakeholder documentation Coordination activities: emails and correspondence assisting with procurement documentation and contract management identification of relevant conferences, industry events for attendance and management of attendance assisting with event planning and management of workshops and other stakeholder events Managing reporting using Austroads project management tools and processes Day-to-day management of consultants to achieve the project's objectives and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget Delivering effective Secretariat services for internal and external governance groups, including organizing and administering meetings, preparing meeting packs, coordinating input from jurisdictions and other stakeholders, analyzing and disseminating information on activities and preparing and distributing minutes and actions Undertaking day-to-day administrative requirements and assisting with other Austroads activities as required The full position description can be found at About You A thorough understanding of project and program management frameworks and methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to apply program management principles Strong administrative and Secretariat skills Proven ability to work independently and a capacity to meet challenges through the application of personal initiative and development of innovative options and solutions A knowledge of government decision making processes and procedures would be highly regarded Employee Benefits Austroads has been recognised as a 2025 5-Star Employer of Choice by HRD Magazine, and one of The Australian's Best Places to Work in 2025 Access to Employee Assistance Program for all employees and their immediate families Extra 5 days personal leave per financial year Wellbeing allowance of up to $500 per financial year Flexible working arrangements and hybrid working from home available Additional paid parental leave entitlements Further education and professional development subsidisation and leave support Access to further professional development through LinkedIn Learning subscription About Austroads Austroads is the collective of the Australian and New Zealand transport agencies representing all levels of government.
