About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and detail-oriented Motor Claims Consultant to join our dynamic claims team. In this role, you’ll manage Motor claims from end to end, working across a diverse portfolio that includes both intermediated and direct customers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll play a key role in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Accurately assess and manage Motor claims in accordance with company policies and industry regulations. Handle claims efficiently within agreed workflow timeframes and service level agreements (SLAs). Proactively manage claim lifecycles through diary management and vendor coordination (e.g., repairers, assessors). Respond to customer complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction with empathy and professionalism. Manage incoming call enquiries, providing clear and timely support to customers and stakeholders. Conduct regular claims reviews and assist with overflow claims from other sub-teams as needed. Skills and Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in Motor claims handling. Strong customer service skills with the ability to adapt communication to different customer groups. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proven time management and organisational skills. Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the insurance industry. Experience working with external vendors such as repairers, assessors, and brokers.
