About Us

We are a fully funded startup based in Vienna, Austria, with a strong presence in the DACH region and Scandinavia. Our team of experts has worked on various projects, including electricity trading, heating system optimization, supply chain predictions, autonomous driving, oil-rig steering, and payment software. We started Podero after advising 20 apartment buildings to switch from oil and gas heating to heat pumps, realizing the potential to reduce consumer energy costs by building software to steer electrical devices according to electricity markets.

The Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Product Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling our content marketing engine, developing comprehensive content strategies, transforming complex technical information into engaging content, leveraging new technologies like Generative AI to streamline processes, and engaging multiple audiences across different stakeholder groups.

You will source information from existing documentation, market research, customer transcripts, and the expertise of our founders and team members to create compelling content such as blog posts, product pages, whitepapers, case studies, and more. Your excellent writing and storytelling abilities will enable you to simplify complex topics and convey our unique value proposition to both internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy to establish Podero as a thought leader in the energy technology space
  • Create and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery
  • Source information from various sources to create engaging content
  • Leverage new technologies like Generative AI to improve content production processes
  • Engage with different audiences to understand their perspectives and provide insights to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling a product marketing or content marketing function
  • Proficiency in content management systems, SEO, and analytics tools
  • Excellent writing and storytelling abilities with a knack for simplifying complex topics
  • Familiarity with the energy sector or utilities industry is a plus but not required
