Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Post-Market Surveillance Specialist to join our team at MED-EL. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and performance of our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post-Market Surveillance: Conduct thorough investigations and analyses of reported incidents and quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Recall Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate recalls and field actions, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Quality System Management: Develop and maintain quality system-related workflows, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze quality data and product reliability to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate, evaluate, and follow up on incidents involving MED-EL products to ensure prompt resolution and prevent recurrence.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in a technical or medical field (University, FH) or equivalent education.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience in the field of vigilance and post-market surveillance.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English; German is desired but not required.
  • Personal Qualities: Responsible, independent, analytical, and solution-oriented personality.

Compensation

Salary will be determined based on professional experience; the formal minimum salary according to Collective Bargaining Agreement is € 41,691.44.
