Finance Business Partner

At GoStudent GmbH, we are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic support to various departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to business leaders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve business outcomes.
- Own optimization potential to a specific part of our Profit and Loss statement.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between budgeted and actual results.
- Collaborate with business units to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Ensure that budgets and forecasts are accurate, realistic, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of long-term financial plans and scenario analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Monitor and manage financial risks associated with business activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in finance, or performance improvement / BizDev roles or transactional services/ M&A.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills in English and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting is a plus.
- Experience with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, financial planning tools) is a plus.
- Strong financial modelling skills is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
