We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to join our team to drive a culture of high performance and efficiency across our Pacific sales team.
Reporting to the Head of APR for the Drives segment, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring your team of leaders to achieve the agreed sales growth targets.
You will also be required to work cross-functionally to drive efficiency gains in our sales conversion efforts.

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this position include but are not limited to, the following:
Strategic business developmentProvide overall leadership and be responsible for driving profitable growth targets, developing market share, and stimulating new business within the segment.Develop and implement sales and service strategies to achieve financial targets for the region.Execute focused plans for strategic markets where we can grow faster and profitably.Based on market intelligence, analyze market development potential; define targets for customer groups.Drive business within the defined fixed expense frames and optimize and develop profitability.Responsible for overall customer experience and perception of Danfoss, as measured in the Customer Loyal Index (CLI) through delivering our brand promise and corporate initiatives.Develop and grow the team.Strengthen leadership capabilities of sales managers within the area, improve financial result orientation in the management team and develop a motivated and performance-driven organization.Increase the productivity of the sales organization.Recruit, hire, train and manage a strong team of sales staff to capture market share.Building and expanding the NetworkResponsible for building relationships at executive levels, with industry and institutional influencers as well as representing the Company in public and private affairs and enhancing employer branding in the local market.Work with regional segment teams to deliver the best possible value proposition and ensure common alignment on strategies, forecasting and business processes. Background & SkillsThe ideal candidate possesses these skills:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or Business Management10+ years of prior experience in a similar role working with direct and indirect channels within the Electrical/Drives Industry.Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams in a B2B environment.Basic knowledge in Electrical/Drive technologies.Experience leading a culturally diverse team.Ability to lead and drive organizational change.People management experience within a sales organization.Regional sales management experience.Superior business acumen and strategy deployment.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Proven communication and negotiation skills.Robust personal resilience, highly motivated team player with a strong personal drive.Excellent listening and communication skills.Proven experience operating in a matrix organization.
