**Location**

Our client is an established retail display manufacturer who provide specialist manufacturing services from their state-of-the-art facility in China. They deliver an array of retail display installations from a simple POP installations to high-tech interactive displays involving premium electronics and security equipment.

If you are an experienced Country Manager or Business Development Director with experience of retail display manufacturing (or similar), and an in-depth knowledge of the Austrian and German markets, this could be the job for you

**The Role**
As Country Manager, your role will be to develop the business in the Austrian and German markets. You with work alongside the Managing Director, developing and implementing strategies that will grow the business, managing the development and launch of local service offerings, from production to distribution. You will secure new business, extending the reach of their services in order to increase revenue. You will identify new sales leads and pitch services whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Developing and implementing country strategy in line with company objectives.
- Overseeing all aspects of the company's operations in Austria and Germany.
- Developing and implementing strategies to grow the business and expand into new markets.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Overseeing the budget and financial performance of the operation.
- Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Achieving sales targets and market share growth in the region.
- Pitching sales and services to new and existing customers.
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new developments in the retail installation industry.
- Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.

**Skills and Experience**
- You will need to have 3 - 5+ years’ experience as a business development director, country manager or similar.
- Experience and knowledge in the production of retail display units including the component materials: acrylics/plastics, metal, timber and electronic equipment.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Ideally you have a BA/BS degree or equivalent.
- Relationship building skills.
- Expert knowledge of international operations and the legal framework.
- Previous experience in leading a complex organization, preferably based away from the global head office.
- The ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication, presentation, spokesperson, and representational skills
