Sales Operations Specialist

The BMW Group is seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Specialist to join our European Sales Operations department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of vehicle stock and distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the production pipeline is filled by ordering stock vehicles, both for central compounds and regional compounds based on recommended configurations.
- Monitor the order/production pipeline and manage incidents by identifying and evaluating problems, deriving measures, and coordinating communication with relevant process partners.
- Regularly exchange with central interfaces, such as template management, stock management, volume planning, and young used car management, as well as market-based sales functions.
- Act as the central contact for dealer queries that cannot be answered by First Level Support.
- Identify new system requirements and take responsibility for forwarding process and system adjustments to the respective business process owner.
- Participate in setting up the ordering team and associated activities during the initial setup phase of the new BMW/MINI sales model.
- A degree in business administration, logistics, or a comparable field of science with initial professional experience in the automotive industry in an operational sales role.
- Alternatively, completion of vocational training with at least 5 years of professional experience in an operational sales role.
- Experience with the BMW Group ordering systems, such as IVS-R and DVP, is a plus.
- Confidence to handle and communicate with various interface partners, including specialist departments, central functions, and 3rd party providers.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Personal initiative and 100% reliability.
- Team spirit and intercultural skills.
- Fluent in business English.
